In addition to the New Lima Precincts the Allen County Board of Elections has approved additional reductions that affect the following places:
- American Township
- Bath Township
- Perry Township
- Shawnee Township
Allen County is now moving from 121 precincts to 88 precincts for the next election. Notices will be sent out in January that will include your current polling location and the name of your precincts.
Some Voters affected by the changes will notice their precinct name will have changed. Please be aware of these changes prior to arriving at the polls in the 2012. It is advisable to keep the notice you receive in January that contains your precinct and polling location information.
The Allen County Board of Elections approved the new precincts for the city of Lima October 20, 2011. These new precincts will go into effect after the November 8th, 2011 General Election.

A GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2011
At the usual place of holding elections in each and every precinct throughout the County or at such places as the Board may designate, for the purpose of choosing the following local officers and issues.

2011 Filing Deadlines
Voter Registration Deadline: October 11, 2011
Your properly completed voter registration form must be postmarked or received by the 30th day before the election at which you wish to vote. To see the requirements for registration or have a form sent to you. You can also download and print off the form from the link below.
The Polls for the Election will open at 6:30 A.M. and remain open until 7:30 P.M. on election day.
